Parking Rules and Regulations

Parking is available for residents for no additional charge. To check out a parking space or carport, residents must come to the UCI International Housing Office to check availability and receive a permit. This parking permit must be visible at all times, or the car may be towed.

Parking Spaces/Carports

  • Residents are assigned one designated parking space per unit. You may come to the International Housing Office to check for availability and receive your assigned space/carport.

  • Parking is for licensed, operational vehicles only. Residents may not store any personal property of any type other than authorized vehicles within the parking spaces or carports.

  • If someone is parked in your assigned parking space, please contact the International Housing office immediately.

Guest Parking Guidelines:

  • Guests may park only in spaces designated for “Guest Parking”. Residents are responsible for notifying guest of these parking rules. Any guest vehicle parked outside of the designated “Guest Parking” spaces is subject to towing at the Guest’s expense.

Please note that the California Safety Agency will be aggressively enforcing community parking policies. Vehicles that are not strictly adhering to community parking rules will be towed at the Owner's expense. Please be certain to pay close attention to all uncovered parking which is designated for permit parking only, the carport reserved parking, loading zones and fire lanes. This will also include vehicles that are improperly parked and/or blocking other vehicles or garages. Please contact the Resident Services Office at (949)786-9200 if you are unsure of the parking policies for your community.

Additional Policies:

  • No vehicle maintenance is permitted within the Community.

  • Residents must comply with all notices to vacate parking areas for maintenance of parking facilities in Community areas. If the resident fails to comply with any such notice and this causes an interference with the maintenance operation, the vehicle will be towed at the Resident’s expense.

  • All parking permits must be returned to the International Housing Office upon move-out. If a parking permit is lost or unreturned, the Resident will be charged $130 for the cost of the replacement Parking Permit.
